One of my best kept secrets: Susan Hanover’s two stone bangle. Even though I’d love to keep it to myself it’s too great not to share! I get compliments every time I wear them, and my friends keep asking me about them so I’m posting it up on here.

One alone is kind of boring so I got myself two of them. I intend to get more with time. It’s great to stock up on because you can wear them with anything for any age at any time, for any style. They’re the ticket to making anything look elegant!

For some reason, I like contradictions. Maybe it’s because I’m a Libra who is always dabbling on both sides of the scale. In my opinion, an intentional attitude that contradicts what one is wearing makes for some serious sass!

Leave it to Marc Jacobs, he’s the master of balancing femininity, and edge. Again here’s a contradicting sense of style & attitude – slightly serious and slightly humorous. His collections are always light and airy but with solid presence. I feel that if Marc Jacobs took place in a castle of designers, he’d be the clever and stylish jester that sits on the throne with the king. Ok maybe I’m getting a little carried away. Anyway, he definitely inspires snob mob worth!

When something is done very well, it speaks for itself. Great taste and style, as you know, can come from all walks of life. If you are an observer, or a people watcher as I am, you are probably also very intrigued with all the different avenues of style down these different walks of life. But let me ask you this: What is the, end all-be all, verdict behind great style? What officially declares something as beautiful? Where are the kudos points in fashion? Yes, I have the answer but I am not going to tell you, because that secret is the code to the ever so stylish Snob Mob! If you know this secret, you are automatically snob mob worthy! There are so many beautiful, strong, inspirational men and women out there, from so many different genres, eras, from so many different walks of life. There is always something to learn from their well-respected creative individual styles along with their courage to be who they are.

This is the deeper truth of style that I love to explore, and this blog is about the journey of refined individuality whether it’s against the grain or with the grain, whether it’s outside the box or inside the box. I like to explore style’s essence, it’s aesthetics, and it’s history, I seek inspiration. I search for true beauty, unique lifestyles and I want to share these insights and inspirations. I’m idealistic, sometimes unrealistic, optimistic, yet logical, and this is my blog.

In my snob mob-esque vision, the stylish members have reached this high note of great style, in conquering their identity, embracing who they are, coping with their challenges, and adapting to their environments, while (most importantly) making it look attractive.

Finding that unique part of our own style comes from finding that unique part ourselves. And rocking that unique part of us comes from owning it. Must own it, to rock it.
